About the job:
Our client currently requires a Verification and Validation Engineer to independently ensure the project technical requirements are fully proven. The candidate will be expected to support the project team in highlighting issues found during test from integration through to acceptance. The role will include;
- Apply IVVTQA principles and best practice across the SE lifecycle, from requirements, design, integration and the V&V stages, supporting the acceptance process.
- Contribute towards key elements of IVVTQA management plans, processes using approved methods, SQEP and resources/facilities, also their maintenance and management.
- Aid creation and perform IVVTQA activities as per approved plans, processes and procedures.
- Maintain alignment, or a tailored approach, of IVVTQA lifecycle activities in accordance with department and Industry standards
- Support IVVTQA at Project reviews, including Design reviews, Risk, Change Impact etc.
About you:
As a Verification and Validation Engineer your skills and qualifications will include:
- Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering/Software/Hardware engineering (SE processes and methodologies (iaw ISO 15288/ISO 29119/INCOSE))
- Experienced in System Engineering V&V lifecycle planning, delivering and reporting
- Proven experience of an evidence based approach for Systems Integration, V&V and Acceptance
- Systems thinking, logical approach, RCA/rectification/regression management
- Good communication, stakeholder management, & technical report writing
