Quantity Surveyor - Surrey

PSR Solutions are currently assisting a multi-disciplinary medium sized main contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor.

Our client work within the education, commercial, healthcare, retail & leisure sectors and deliver a mixture of new build, refurbishment and fit out schemes.

This opportunity will be covering 2 schemes in the Surrey area.

Job role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Surrey

Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 all in (dependant on experience)

Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents.
• Estimate material quantities, costs, labour, etc.
• Undertake cost analysis.
• Arrange payments and value completed works.

Quantity Surveyor Knowledge and skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Experience working for a main contractor
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Management role
• Knowledge of construction and commercial awareness
