Job Profile:
As aSheet Metal Worker, your main function will be to carry out a variety of engineering duties, including countersinking, fettling, riveting, and assembly. There is also an opportunity for the right candidate to be trained to operate an Amada CNC punching machine.

Duties:

Perform general engineering tasks, including countersinking, fettling, riveting, and assembly.
Work with precision on projects involving tight tolerances and time schedules.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to execute tasks accurately.
Operate and maintain equipment, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
Collaborate effectively within a team and independently.

Skills & Attributes:

A minimum of 3 years of extensive experience in sheet metal work.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Capable of working to tight tolerances with a high level of precision.
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.

Hours of Work:

39 hours per week.
- MondayThursday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Friday: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
£17£18 per hour
Overtime available at x1.5 pay rate.
