KPJ Group is currently recruiting for a CNC Setter to join a global leader in bespoke manufacturing at their site in Hayfield. This role involves setting up and preparing CNC machines for production, ensuring efficient operation and quality standards.
What’s on offer?
- £16.00 - £19.00 per hour
- Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Early finish on Fridays
- Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
- 32 days holiday

What will you be doing as a CNC Setter?
- Setting up a range of CNC machines, including multi-axis and sliding head types
- Adjusting machine settings to ensure components are produced to required tolerances and quality standards
- Conducting quality checks to verify that components meet specifications
- Performing "Start of Work" machine inspections before each shift
- Reporting any machine faults or unusual occurrences through approved Maintenance Reporting Procedures
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure proper setup
What do you need?
- CNC setting experience
- Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines (Heidenhain or Hurco preferred)
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls (desirable)
- A recognised engineering qualification or time served as an apprentice (desirable)
