Accounts Assistant

CMA is recruiting exclusively for our rapidly expanding New Milton, Hampshire based client who have a new requirement for an Accounts Assistant to join their large and dynamic finance team.This opportunity offers hybrid working on a permanent basis with study support and ongoing career development and career prospects.This position offers you the chance to join a fast-paced finance function as they modernise and grow the team structure. Our client is ideally seeking ambitious and driven individuals who would like to fast-track their careers within this business, offering a starting salary of £23,000 - £26,000 plus an excellent range of benefits.What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

• Transactional accounts production to strict deadlines;
• Responsible for producing accounts and delivering financial statements to strict deadlines;
• Preparations for service change cycles and delivery in a time pressured environment;
• High volume accounts query resolution with internal and external parties.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

• Ideally you will have experience in accounts production and be studying towards at AAT or similar accountancy qualification;
• Suited to a graduate in accountancy and finance looking for a first position;
• Ideally two years’ practical experience gained within transactional finance;
• Confident systems user, including accountancy packages and Excel;
• A team player who enjoys interaction within this customer focused business.
