HR Advisor

Location: New Milton (Hybrid Working)

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Hours: 35 Hours a week - Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Our client is seeking a talented HR Advisor to join their dynamic HR team. As a key player, you will provide essential support to Senior HR Advisors across a range of HR and recruitment activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • HR Advisory: Deliver expert HR advice on employment law, policies, and procedures, guiding line managers on complex issues like capability, disciplinary actions, grievances, and employee health.
  • HR Case Management: Take ownership of a dedicated caseload, acting as the first point of contact for employees and line managers.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain the integrity of the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy, system optimisation, and efficient report generation.
  • Policy and Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR policies, processes, and practices.
  • Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by providing timely, professional, and confidential support.
  • Absence Management: Effectively manage employee absence, providing guidance to line managers and collaborating with Occupational Health.
  • Compliance: Stay up-to-date with employment law and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate insightful reports and analyse HR data to inform strategic decisions.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
