We are looking for a full-time Care Assistant to assist in the provision of care and work as part of a team to achieve the required standards in our residential care home.
Candidates must be able to work alternate weekend shifts.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained at all times, with supporting/assisting the residents, when required, with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing and all other aspects of care.
- To ensure all aspects of the management of the home meet with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 and the requirements of CQC.
- Observe care planning needs for the residents and complete daily records.
- Answer the call bell system, giving assistance as required.
- Assist residents who need help during meal times (be aware of swallowing difficulties, dietary requirements etc). Assist with serving of food / drinks as required/ requested. Wash up as required / requested.

Required:
- Experience of working in a similar role

Desired:
- Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved or working towards), e.g. Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
