Welder/ Fitter
Location: New MiltonSalary: £15 per hour
Adecco Bournemouth is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join a reputable client. This role involves working with mild steel and occasionally aluminum to create and assemble machine chassis and metal frameworks. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:-
Welding and Fabrication:
- Mild steel box section welding.
- Occasional aluminum welding.
- Tacking and welding various assemblies.

Material Preparation:
- Selecting, measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as per specifications.
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications with accuracy.

Assembly and Finishing:
- Fitting electro-mechanical components into metal frames.
- Finishing surfaces to a high standard.
- Conducting visual inspections of completed work.

Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
- Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication, particularly with mild steel and aluminum.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Proficiency in handling and maintaining welding equipment.
