Job Title: Trainee Fabricator
Location: New Romney, Kent (must drive and have own transport)
Salary: up to 28,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 4pm

Role Summary:
You will be responsible for supporting the current fabrication team in ensuring work is carried out to a high quality. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start or develop their career in fabrication, offering comprehensive on-the-job training and opportunities for career progression
Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Assist in the fabrication of metal components and structures following detailed plans.
- Learn and operate tools and machinery, including drills, saws, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work space.
- Ensure production schedules and quality standards are achieved.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the durability of fabricated products.
- General maintenance of equipment.
- Complete relevant paperwork.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- You MUST drive and have your own transport due to location.
- Interest in fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for handling heavy and large materials and equipment.
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
