Position: Teacher of Mathematics

About Us: We are a relatively new, over-subscribed school with high-quality facilities for our staff, students, and the local community. The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our Mathematics team. We welcome applications from experienced teachers or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to start their career in a supportive environment with a strong ECT programme. The role involves teaching students of all abilities. Applicants should be hardworking, professional, and have excellent communication and organisational skills. It is vital that all staff have high expectations of students, colleagues, and themselves, displaying energy and enthusiasm in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Mathematics to students of all abilities.
  • Producing high-quality programmes of study, schemes of work, and assessment plans.
  • Acting as an academic and pastoral tutor to learners.
  • Contributing positively to the overall programme of learning for each student to ensure progression.
  • Maintaining high expectations of students, colleagues, and oneself.
