We are seeking a dedicated Supply Maths Teacher to join a dynamic team in New Romney. This role involves working with Key Stage 3 students, planning and marking included, and leading lessons. This is a full-time, long-term position with a competitive rate of pay and the potential for a permanent role.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
- Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Lead lessons effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching maths at Key Stage 3 level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Must possess a current DBS check.
