I am actively seeking a bright graduate who has a keen interest in structural design to join a successful, well-established, civil and structural design consultancy near Newark. Working on a variety of projects, using steel, concrete, timber and masonry; you will get the chance to work on projects from conception through to completion stage. Current workload spans across residential, commercial, industrial and leisure type buildings.

Our client is offering an excellent training programme which will allow the graduate to work on design, get involved in project management, work with the drafting team and generally get a feel for all aspects of the design environment. You will be offered a highly competitive salary, including pension contribution and bonus schemes, and more! Our client offers a supportive and creative environment with friendly, engaging staff.

To be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:

  • Have gained a strong degree in civil or structural engineering (a 2,1 or first class MEng being preferable)
  • A working knowledge of CAD would be advantageous although not essential.
  • Happy to attend site on occasion
  • You will display a hard-working approach to work
  • You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • If you are close to Bristol this would be a benefit, but we can also consider candidates relocating.

Commutable locations would include: Nottingham, Lincolnshire, Retford.
