Senior Salmon are currently recruiting for Estimators and Senior Estimators for a well known Ground Engineering company in the Newark-on-Trent area.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates for various projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are financially viable and aligned with client expectations. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information and deliver comprehensive cost analyses.

Duties

- Preparation of tender designs and estimates for piled retaining walls in accordance with customer queries and internal procedures

- Securing profitable work of strategic benefit to department and group

-Develop an enhance client relations from enquiry stage to point of order and beyond.

Skills

- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Customer focuses

- Proficiency in cost control methodologies and practices.

- Effective communication skills to convey complex information clearly.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proficient in using estimating software and tools.

- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

- Full UK driving licence

- Minimum 2 years experience in ground investigation/ground engineering/geotechnical setting

- Previous pricing experience preferred buy not essential

- Previous design experience preferred but not essential

Salary - Between 35,000 - 60,000pa DOE
