We are looking for two enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executives to join a friendly team in Newark. One on a 12-month fixed-term basis and the other on a 6-month fixed-term basis. As part of a small Sales Team, you will report to the Sales Manager and work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.

This role involves account management, lead generation, and general marketing, as well as close collaboration with Business Development Managers to progress sales orders and develop long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurturing and managing relationships with key customers to build long-term loyalty
  • Outbound calling within your allocated market and region to create a pipeline of opportunities
  • Answering inbound and making outbound calls to follow up on potential leads
  • Generating leads from inbound enquiries and contractor portals for the field sales team
  • Supporting Business Development Managers in progressing sales orders
  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners to understand and meet customer requirements
  • Assisting with general marketing, including website content, internal events, LinkedIn, and social media
  • Prospecting for new clients and executing targeted marketing strategies
  • Assisting with sales order processing when necessary
  • Committed to personal development and maintaining a development plan

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills
  • Proven experience in lead generation
  • Experience with Sage software (or similar packages) is desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work to deadlines
