SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Agent based in Newark, Nottinghamshire Area.

This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in a thriving and supportive workplace!

Experience within an first line/ technical customer service role is essential, ideally within a fast-paced business to business organisation.

Strong Excel skills are key to be successful within this role!

Responsibilities Include:
- You will provide first line technical telephone support to customers where you will analyse, investigate, and resolve hardware, software and network faults and issues, or alternatively, escalate if deemed necessary.
- Working closely with team members, you will efficiently manage your own individual tasks whilst also supporting the overall team workload.
- You will accurately process all orders and package parts ready for despatch to customers.
- Answering and responding to incoming calls and email from customers and managing orders
- Generating reports for the management through internal systems as well as Excel and delivery with the good time manner.
- Extensive data entry and data management that requires attention to detail.
- Managing and cross-checking back-order reports (inhouse and 3rd party contractors)
- Providing back up support to the customers at weekends (1 to 2 per month)
- Team leading during line manager absence.
- Other ad hoc administration and customer service tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A self-motivated person, driven to get things done.
- Ability to work under own initiative with strong organisation skills.
- Brilliant communication skills and a great ability to translate plan into action.
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office.
- A 'can do' attitude and confident in multitasking.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines.
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyse information.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm 
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000
