THE ROLE

As a Contracts Coordinator you will be the linchpin in the seamless operation of contract processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and Monitoring: Efficiently schedule, assign, and monitor site Engineers’ work activities.
  • Customer Interaction: Professionally handle customer queries and book Engineer visits through prompt communication.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage daily office tasks such as filing, answering phones, and recording emails.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Liaise with the company H&S manager to ensure all necessary documentation, including RAMS, test certificates, and site passes, are in order.
  • Information Management: Collate and dispatch essential information, photos, and drawings to site Engineers.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Take appropriate verbal or written actions to ensure smooth contract administration.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Contracts Coordinator will have experience in scheduling site Engineers and the ability to work autonomously. Essential skills include:

  • Organisational Prowess: Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate with customers, Engineers, and internal staff.
  • Attention to Detail: A neat and methodical approach to work.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, SAP, Oracle) and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
