Site Team Leader
Orion is working with a company that specialises in food production, pharmaceutical, and materials handling equipment from planning new products to design improvements on existing equipment, they have an in-house design and projects team to bring a wealth of experience to every project.
Responsibilities of the Site Team Leader
- Hands-on Stainless-steel dairy pipe welding and installing for onsite installations with your team of engineers.
- Reporting to management on the progress of projects and site activity.
- To be responsible for site work in terms of quality and productivity.
- Programming/scheduling site work.
- Continuously identify and forward ideas that will improve efficiencies.
- Traveling typically up to 3 hours radius from Newark.
- Liaising with customers and Projects/drawing office.
Essential Criteria for the Site Team Leader
- Ability to weld dairy pipe and install, working knowledge, and experience of site work.
- Ability to align and level equipment accurately.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Read and understand 2d and 3d drawings.
- A highly motivated leader.
TIG Welding/fabrication – essential. Experience in installations as well as knowledge of mechanical engineering conveyors, and pipework.
