Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with an industry leading Architectural and Multi-Disciplinary design practice based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, seeking an Associate Director level Architect to join their Architectural team.

THE COMPANY:

The company in question are one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary practices with offices spread throughout the UK & internationally. The practice has thousands of employees spread over 100 countries worldwide, offering services across multiple disciplines covering numerous sectors and project types.

Sectors worked within company wide include; Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Data Centres, Logistics, Pharmaceutical, Education, Leisure and much more. Project values can range into the billions, it's therefore essential that anyone joining the business is comfortable with large scale projects and the complexities that come with the territory of those kind of projects.

Due to sustained growth in the Newark office, the practice are now seeking an Associate Director level Architect to join their Data Centre/Industrial team. This role could also be based in Birmingham should candidates based closer to the West Midlands be interested in this role.

THE POSITION - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR (ARCHITECTURE)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Director level Architect with around 7-10+ years of post qualification experience to join a fantastic company with a stellar reputation.

General duties of the Associate Director will include the following:

  • Lead the delivery of Data Centre projects, overseeing all aspects from initial planning to final completion.
  • Manage due diligence and design projects, providing leadership in various engineering disciplines for new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Ensure projects stay within budget and schedule, meeting design standards and maintaining high quality.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team to achieve excellence in technical delivery.
  • Foster relationships with clients and collaborate with other divisions within the company.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Take the lead on proposals and bidding processes.

The ideal Associate Director for this role will possess the following:

  • Fully qualified Architect with at least 7-10+ years of post qualification experience.
  • Extensive experience of working on large scale data centre pojects.
  • Proven delivery in the Data Centre sector, along with Logistics & Industrial exp. being a benefit.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring individuals and teams.
  • Strong leadership and project management experience.
  • Be financially and commercially astute.
