About the Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive in their learning. Whether working one-to-one, with small groups, or supporting whole-class activities, your role will be essential in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and engaging students.
- Provide individual and small group support to enhance learning.
- Encourage confidence, participation, and independence in pupils.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and learning activities.
- Support children's social and emotional development in a nurturing school environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
