Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire (NG24)
Pay: 90 - 105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, 8:15am - 3:30pm

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN)?
We're working in partnership with a highly regarded independent SEN school based in Newark, which caters to students aged 5-19 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related needs. This nurturing school setting is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant who is ready to make a real difference in students' lives.
Role Responsibilities:
- Offering 1-1 and small group support tailored to specific learning needs.
- Assisting with the delivery of engaging, structured lessons and activities.
- Supporting the emotional wellbeing and social development of students.
- Promoting positive behaviour both in and out of the classroom.
- Encouraging independence and teaching practical life skills through daily routines.
- Helping to track progress and keep detailed records of student development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential.
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
