Are you a level 3 qualified teaching assistant with experience supporting SEN learners? Are you motivated to provide positive and meaningful support to young children?

Long-term futures are proud to be working closely with a Newark (NG24) based independent school set in the beautiful open countryside.

This school excels in transforming the lives of autistic learners, supporting young people between the ages of 5 and 19 with an autism diagnoses and associated conditions.

Due to the location of this role, it would be advantageous to have access to your own vehicle to reliably commute.

What will my role involve?

  • You'll support pupils with autism spectrum disorders and related conditions.
  • Working closely with teachers to create a calm and caring environment for learning.
  • You'll work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups, carrying out learning activities as part of the lesson plans.

How can I be successful?

  • You must hold a level 3 teaching assistant qualification, or higher.
  • Ideally you will have experience across more than one educational provision, being able to draw from your diverse experience.
  • You'll desire to have a significant impact on each pupils individual achievement and their enjoyment. Fostering a safe, and interesting learning environment.
