The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join an Engineering Consultancy on a permanent basis.
For this role candidates must be based within a 1.5-hour commute of either Newark or Kings Langley. Travel is estimated at around 80% at client sites across the UK.
Scope of role
- To supervise site activities and closely liaise with the clients site staff, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare Method Statements, including working drawings and works procedures.
- Appoint and brief the site team, including specialist subcontractors.
- Define the project program & ensuring contractual targets are met.
- Prepare, issue, and negotiate monthly payment applications.
- Undertake business development activities for new projects
Essential Criteria
- Civil Engineering or related degree background
- At least 2 years Project Management experience within a construction setting.
- Full UK driving license
