Brownhills Motorhomes are currently seeking an Assistant to work in our Accessory Shop, this is an exciting opportunity to join our successful company.

We are the UK'slargest Motorhome dealer and one stop destination for all Motorhome requirements. We sell new and used motorhomes, parts and accessories, undertakemotorhome services/repairs and have an onsite caf and leisure facilities.We employ around 200 staff at our 12.5 acre site.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Accessory shop manager to ensure that the shop is maintained in a neat and tidy condition throughout the working day. Re-stocking and maintaining the shelves; ensuring they remain neat and tidy.
  • Unloading deliveries, pricing and displaying goods when deliveries arrive; reporting any breakages or short deliveries to the manager and placing stock orders. Filling up customer's vehicles or gas bottles with LPG.
  • Maintaining our website with the correct picture's information and pricing etc. Processing Ebay and internet sales. Dealing with customer orders, informing customers when goods arrive and ensuring no damage has occurred in transit.
  • You will need to manage customer returns and customer follow-up calls. Help with merchandising stock and preparing for promotions and special offers.
  • Progress and complete any customer or internal sales requests. serving customers, operating the till, handling cash and recording transactions. Reconciliation and balancing cash at the end of the day.

Skills Required

  • The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills be politewith a warm, friendly and enthusiastic personality. You must be punctual with the ability to prioritise your work. You must be able to follow specific instructions and be accurate when documenting and passing information.
  • You will have the ability to be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied environment, be IT literate and strive to hit targets and take pride in a job well done.
  • Preferably with previous experience in a customer facing role with the right attitude.
  • You will be able to work on your own initiative and work as part of a team.

Hours of Work

Working 3 days per week; normally Wednesday and Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm and Saturday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. There will be occasions when you will be required to work at other times to cover sickness, holidays and Bank Holidays on a rota.
