Qualified Adults Social Worker | Community Forensic Team | Newark, Nottinghamshire

  • Qualified Adults Social Worker / Social Work Professional required to join a Community Forensic team

  • You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration as well as relevant experience to be considered
  • Pay rate 32ph

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.

The Community Forensic Team undertake Care Act assessments, support planning, commissioning and supporting discharges of forensic patients into the community who have a high risk profile.

You will have experience of working creatively with adults who have care and support needs and will bring a commitment to the principles of strength's-based practice, promoting independence and wellbeing whilst safely managing risks.

A key function of the role will also focus on providing 'Social Supervision' and reporting back to the Ministry of Justice for people who are subject to section 41 of the Mental Health Act.

Candidates must be able to drive and have use of a vehicle for work purposes and be registered with Social Work England.
