Our client is seeking a company accountant for a temporary position covering maternity leave within an SME organization.
The contract is expected to last between 6 to 12 months and is based in Nottingham.
The successful candidate should have a background in accounts, preferably in an SME environment, and must be available on two weeks' notice or less.
The salary for this role ranges from £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
This is an office-based position with a company benefits package included.

Our client is recruiting a company accountant to join their SME organisation on initially a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is a 6-12 month temporary contract.

Client Details

Our client is a £10m T/O company based in Nottingham, near J26 of the M1.

Description

Maintain and update accurate financial records, including transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.

Manage both accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

Accounts to trial balance.

Stock valuation.

VAT returns.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a background in accounts, preferably within an SME environment, and be available on 2 weeks notice or less.

Job Offer

A salary of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience
