You'll assist the Financial Services Manager in managing finance systems, ensuring compliance, and driving improvements. You'll also supervise Finance Technicians, a Trainee Finance Officer, and a Finance Apprentice.Key Responsibilities:
- Administer finance systems and act as a Business Advisor.
- Liaise with ICT and suppliers for system support.
- Manage EFin, Civica, and other finance systems.
- Support Finance Business Partners in accounting services.
- Promote business and financial skill development.
- Deliver finance and system training to staff.
- Identify and implement financial system improvements.
- Provide financial advice to management teams and boards.
- Support external and internal audit processes.
- Improve financial systems and manage upgrades.
- Supervise and develop finance staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in finance systems management.
- Strong technical liaison skills.
- Proficiency in EFin and Civica.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements.
- Knowledge of finance codes and standards.
- Strong organisational skills.
