The company is seeking a talented CRM Manager to join its Commercial Services team in Nottingham, where the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising customer relationship management and driving business success.The CRM Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing the CRM functionality within the company's ERP system, fostering stronger relationships with customers, and leading a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about data analysis and CRM strategy.Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and lead the team to deliver an effective CRM solution, liaising with colleagues in both Europe and North America.
  • Manage and maintain the CRM functionality within an ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity of customer data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Business Development, Operations) to streamline and optimise CRM processes for better stakeholder management.
  • Analyse CRM data to derive actionable insights that improve stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop regular reports including monthly board report on CRM performance, identifying trends, potential leads, and opportunities for growth.
  • Work with teams to identify CRM-related process improvements, such as automating routine tasks (e.g., follow-ups, reminders, event triggers) and managing workflows.
  • Train staff on CRM best practices and ensure consistent adoption across departments.
  • Develop and document CRM policies, procedures, and user guidelines.
  • Ensure a smooth transition between CRM data and the organisation's scientific project management and business development efforts.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role working with customer databases in a numerate and analytical capacity.
  • Strong leadership skills and management experience.
  • Broad knowledge of CRM platforms/ERPs; direct experience of using the NetSuite Oracle platform is desired but not essential.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including familiarity with Excel, CRM analytics, PowerBI, or other visualisation platforms and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience of analysing sales and revenue data
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies. Highly numerate with the ability to manage, manipulate and gain meaningful insights and actions from large data sets.
  • Results driven and delivery focused. Enthusiasm, energy and determination to achieve results, including those achieved through influence on related teams.
