Associate Engineer

I am actively seeking an experienced Associate Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Nottinghamshire. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil and structural teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in industrial/manufacturing facilities, where you will work from land acquisition stage, all the way through planning, tender and construction (detailed design) stages.

It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

  • A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng in Structural Engineering
  • To be a Chartered Engineer and Member of either Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers
  • Actively seek new business opportunities as well as maintaining existing client base
  • Experience with design in multiple materials and analysis and design of varied building forms.

Duties and responsibilities for this Associate Engineer include:

  • The candidate will be leading a mixed civil/structural engineering team. Preferably they will be competent in either field.
  • The role would be to support a current Director.
  • Demonstrating your experience and providing technical guidance
  • Ensure client satisfaction at all stages of the design process
