Job Title: Senior Design EngineerLocation: NG22 0PQSector: Construction / ManufacturingType: PermanentSalary: £45,000 - £50,000Sutton Recruitment are working exclusively to recruit a Senior Design Engineer to join a leading company who specialises in the production of innovative precast reinforced, pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete products.As the largest independent producer of pre-stressed bridge beams in Britain, who offer a comprehensive range of beam profiles as well as bespoke reinforced and post-tensioned products developed and tailored to the needs of individual projects.As the Senior Design Engineer, you will take ownership of the design and detailing of precast concrete structures/elements from commencement to completion.Duties & Responsibilities: • Drafting works such as assembly, geometry drawings or sketches of Precast Concrete elements• 3D modelling in one of common software such as Grasshoppers, Tekla, Revit.• Design of temporary works such as lifting and transport of precast elements.• Design analyses and section design of reinforced and pre-stressed elements.• RC detailing and related activities including experience with BS 8666 RC detailing• Developing and updating company catalogues, libraries, etc.• Recording completed projects to various charts and lists.• Creating, developing, updating various method statements related to projects. • Liaison with clients about ongoing projects.• Periodic reporting to company management.
