Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a dynamic Estates and Facilities Department.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing contractors across multiple sites, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and within designated timeframes.

Key responsibilities include conducting inspection surveys to identify defects in buildings, providing specialist advice on remedial actions, and liaising with various teams to minimise disruption to building occupants.

Additionally, the role involves preparing detailed specifications, construction drawings, and briefs for clients, while overseeing resource allocation and management within the team.

Key Candidate will have:

  • HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or demonstrated knowledge and expertise in a specialised building surveying field
  • Experienced in asbestos awareness, fire compliance and cabling

Note: You will be based at one primary site but may be expected to travel to other sites across the estate -  a vehicle will be provided for you
