As our Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our Agile development team to ensure the smooth operation of our software systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms ideally Microsoft Azure, and possess strong technical skills in cloud computing, networking, and security.?
Key Responsibilities:??

Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure and architecture.??

Develop, test, and deploy cloud-based solutions and applications.??

Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services.??

Implement and manage cloud-based security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.??

Monitor and optimise cloud performance and ensure high availability diagnosing any potential problems.?

Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.??

Key Technical Skills:
- Experience in cloud engineering or a related field.?

Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Web Apps, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Azure Resource Manager, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure SQL, RBAC, and networking.???

Experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools in particular Azure DevOps and building pipelines and deploying Azure resources using infrastructure-as-code.

Experience with automating tasks using scripting languages and tools such as PowerShell and Azure CLI.

Good knowledge of observability tooling such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights or Dynatrace.
