Our client is recruiting a credit controller for an immediate start position based in Kirkby in Ashfield. This would be a temporary role to start with but with the option to go permanent if both parties are happy.

Our client is part of a group of manufacturing companies with a total turnover of around £90m.

Description

Responsibilities will include;

  • Setting credit limits and terms for customers.
  • Reviewing customer creditworthiness and assessing financial stability.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customers' credit status.
  • Ensuring invoices are accurate and sent out promptly.
  • Verifying that all billing information is correct before sending invoices.
  • Contacting customers by phone, email, or letter to follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Negotiating payment plans or settlements when necessary.
  • Monitoring payments, ensuring they are received on time, and allocating payments to the correct accounts.
  • Managing payment methods and processing payments efficiently.

Profile

The successful candidate will come from a background in credit control and be available to start asap. You will be a natural relationship builder, be computer literate, and work well on your own initiative.

Job Offer

£28-30k base salary

Mon-Fri 9-5 with some flex

25 days holiday + bank holidays
