The job position is for an Electrical Design Engineer based in Nottinghamshire, offered on a permanent basis.

Candidates should have a minimum of an HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and proficiency in electrical design packages such as AutoCAD.
Experience with Automated Gates is preferable, along with knowledge of 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

JOB – Electrical Design Engineer LOCATION – Nottinghamshire TERM – Permanent SALARY – competitive depending on experience A Nottinghamshire based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
Proficient with electrical design packages such as AutoCAD.
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Previous experience with Automated Gates would be preferable.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The Electrical Design Engineer’s responsibilities will include:

Producing electrical schematics & automation BoMs.
Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
Updating technical documentation when required.
