Client Details

Our client is a highly successful and growing global business. You will be based 3 days PW from the modern offices in Hucknall and 2 days PW from home (if desired).

Description

This is a brand new role, which has been created due to business growth. You will be reporting into the Transactional Finance Manager, and will be overseeing and managing the credit control function whilst managing your own ledger. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Evaluating credit check requests and approval of new accounts
  • Managing your own ledger of key and high profile customers
  • Proactively contact customer for prompt collection of aged debt, including the management of legal claims
  • Making decisions on disputed invoices and credit and discount requests
  • Ensuring the accuracy of sales ledger transactions
  • Driving performance across the team on cash collections
  • Developing customer insights and reporting
  • Supporting the team with training, holiday cover, 121s and performance reviews
  • Leading internal debtor review meetings with the credit control team and senior leadership team
  • Assisting with year end audit requests and ad hoc customer queries

Profile

To apply for this role, you will:

  • have a proven track record of working in credit control
  • have some experience of supervising or training others
  • have good Excel skills
  • have excellent communication skills
