What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive MSK assessments to diagnose and formulate effective treatment plans
  • Implementing evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, soft tissue techniques, electrotherapy, and pain management strategies
  • Managing a diverse caseload including acute injuries, chronic pain conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries
  • Educating and advising patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and long-term self-management strategies
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (GPs, consultants, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals) to ensure holistic patient care
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to clinical audits and service improvement initiatives
  • Providing clinical support and mentorship to junior staff and students where applicable

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • HCPC registration and CSP membership
  • Previous experience working as an MSK physiotherapist in an NHS, private, or community setting
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills to assess and manage complex MSK conditions
  • A proactive and patient-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of NICE guidelines, MSK pathways, and evidence-based practice

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role is full-time but open to part-time applicants. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
