Opportunity is around the corner asPertempsare recruiting for a Van Driver/Postal Worker to work for Royal Mail in Newark, delivering / collecting letters and parcels in the area.
The role is a Temporary ongoing position with full-time hours. With the possibility of turning into a permanent position.
Shift:Working within the hours of 14:00 and 20:00, working Monday to Saturday. (30 hours per week)
Hourly Rate:£13.37 per hour
About You
- Upbeat and self-motivated, youll be as happy working alone as you will be working as part of a team and getting to know the different people on your round. Youll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
- We deliver parcels come rain or shine, so were looking for people who like being outdoors whatever the weather.
- Youll also be someone who likes the idea of doing a job that will help you keep fit as you will be walking multiple miles a day.
- Some experience in a customer facing role would be ideal.
Driving Licence Requirement
A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred. Please note you will be required to show this at assessment.
This is an ideal position for people living in Grantham, Bottesford, Lincoln, Newark, and Sleaford.
