Procurement Portfolio Delivery Manager

Duration:     Permanent  

Location:     Nottinghamshire (Hybrid working)

Pay Rate:    £43k - £48k per annum

Hours:        37 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving, prioritising and managing a Procurement portfolio
  • Ensure initiatives are aligned with the strategic goals and compliance requirements of the organisation 
  • Maintain/manage the portfolio project pipeline
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the procurement portfolio, regularly communicating progress, risks, and outcomes 
  • Develop the portfolio by working with business areas and project teams on benefits, risks and strategic objectives to support prioritisation and to inform decision making
  • Gather, validate and challenges updates from Project Managers/Delivery Leads
  • Identify, assess and ensure risks are well managed to mitigate delivery and benefits
  • Identify and assist in the definition of dependencies and to proactively manage with awareness of impacts
  • Analyse and provide timely and insightful Programme and Project management information
  • Work with Programme leads to apply an appropriate governance model on all Procurement activities within Programmes and Projects
  • Manage the financial performance of the Procurement portfolio, ensuring budgetary constraints and opportunities are clearly understood and adhered to and value is delivered in line with financial objectives

Ideal Requirements:

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent experience
  • Experience of Portfolio management
  • Experience of leading Programme Management Delivery
