Service Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Operations Team at our Newark Operation Centre. Youll be required to manage and support a large team of service drivers who provide vital waste disposal products and services to our customers premises.

As a Service Manager at one of our Operations Centres you will be:

Supporting the Centre Manager in managing productivity levels of the depot to ensure we retain our high quality of service standards.
Resource planning and supporting the development of all members of our service team
Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and complies with all relevant legislation and all phs Health and Safety policies both at the centre and for all company vehicles
Always ensure vehicles and equipment and checked and maintained to keep our colleagues and customers safe.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

At least 2 years management experience within the operations/transport logistics sector
. Transport management experience/ CPC preferred but not essential
An energetic and inspirational manager with proven ability to lead teams to meet our valued customers expectations
Hold a valid, full driving licence for at least 12 months (max 6 points) in accordance with the company transport policy.
Understand Health & Safety in the workplace, preferably IOSH trained
Customer focused
Resource and time management skills
. Previous transport experience essential
Excellent communication skills are essential for this role too
I.T. skills.

Additional Information A criminal record will not necessarily bar candidates from obtaining employment with phs however due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
