Head of Procurement | Nottinghamshire| £51,000 - £56,000Macildowie delighted to be partnering exclusively with a Multi Academy Trust in Nottinghamshire who provide primary and secondary education across multiple counties to over 10,000 children who are seeking to appoint to a newly created Head of Procurement post.Head of Procurement remitYou will be leading their Procurement function and partnering closely with the CFO in creating the long term strategic plan as well as establishing the structure and function. Given this is a newly created post it presents a great opportunity to put your own stamp on the role and have real autonomy in shaping the function going forward.This will be everything from end to end tendering, identifying savings from the low hanging fruit, contract management and liaison with budget managers to deliver the best possible outcomes.The role will have access to support from administrative colleagues that span across Finance and Procurement.Minimum Requirements:- End to end tendering knowledge and experience- Public sector procurement experience and familiarity with public procurement regulations at Senior Procurement Officer/ Manager and above levelBenefits- £51,000-£56,000- Excellent pension - Local Government Pension Scheme - c22% employer contribution - Hybrid working - 3 days based on site with the rest from home - 28 days annual leave + bank holidaysThis Head of Procurement role is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation and impact the education and development of children across multiple counties.If you are interested in exploring this great procurement opportunity and feel this could be a fit for you, please apply with an up to date CV.
