Acorn by Synergie is seeking a talented Supply Chain Coordinator (Rail Wagons) to join their clients team at their Toton, Nottinghamshire site. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the supply chain for the maintenance of the rail wagon fleet. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for forecasting stock requirements, generating purchase orders, and checking supplier invoices. You must have strong PC skills, particularly in Excel, and be independent and confident in your abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Forecast stock requirements for the maintenance of the rail wagon fleet, taking into account lead times and quantities needed- Generate accurate and timely purchase orders to ensure a smooth supply chain- Check and verify supplier invoices to ensure accuracy- Support the technical services team in coordinating the delivery of rail wagon parts- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure timely delivery of goods- Maintain accurate records of all supply chain activities

Requirements:

- Experience in a supply chain role, preferably in the rail transport industry- Strong PC skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel- Independent and confident in managing day-to-day tasks- Excellent communication and organisational skills- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
