Senior Salmon are looking for skilled fabricators to join our clients growing team in Tuxford!Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in welding and fabrication processes and have experience working in structural steel . As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components for the construction industry. Your primary tasks will involve cutting, welding, and assembling steel structures and components to precise specifications.ResponsibilitiesMeasure, cut, drill, weld and assemble steel parts to the required specificationAssemble fabricated components according to engineering drawings and specifications.Fabricate metal structures and components using sheet metal.Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks.Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.ExperienceProven experience in fabrication and welding, is essential, preferably in structural steel.Familiarity with fabrication processes and techniques for assembling metal components.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.Previous experience working with sheet metal is advantageous but not mandatory.Payrate -£16.00phOvertime opportunities available, paid at an enhanced rateWorking hoursMonday to Friday, 7am - 4pmIf you are a dedicated individual with a passion for fabrication and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Skills:Fabricator, Welder, Structural SteelKeywords:Fabricator, Welder, Structural Steel
