Working hours: 45 hours/week

Are you a Welder or Fabricator looking for an exciting career move with a proven track record of Welding and a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and adherence to safety protocols? The purpose of this role is to maintain and refurbish our container stock, as well as ensuring this stock is available for the customers, along with occasional repairs required elsewhere onsite.

Primarily centred around Waste Management, this business is expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key UK and Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out container defect rectification i.e. lid & wheel replacement replace damaged sections of container to make good the container.
  • Ensure welds are sound and clean making the container safe and sound for public use · Ensure use of welding equipment is controlled and welding equipment is looked after.
  • Ensure stock of metal stock & skip consumables are always available to continue with workload.
  • Maintain through regular checks a working waste collection container stock to minimise downtime and assist in exceeding required service levels to Enva customers.

What We Are Looking For?

  • At least 12 months of practical experience as a welder/fabricator - Recent experience
  • MIG Welding qualification.
  • Flexible worker - Working hours, type of work
  • Hard worker who is self-motivated
