Overview

• GI Pro are recruiting for a Welder Fabricator for our multi-sector steel fabrication client based in Nottingham
• Working a day shift Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
• Combining 70% workshop and 30% site work, will be all local
• Paying up to £16ph,
• Overtime is available at enhanced rates at 1.3x
• This is a permanent role with immediate starts

The company - Manufacturer of handrails and drum stands

The role:

• Bespoke welding and fabricating for multiple sector clients (including Severn Trent)
• Predominantly MIG Welding from 3mm - 15mm thick Mild and stainless
• Full fabrication work from engineering drawings, and machinery (experience in CNC Folding will be an advantage)
• Site work is mainly local across Nottinghamshire, so will not include staying away
• If opted in for the site option, you will use a company van
• 70% Shop floor and 30% site work all

Candidate attributes

• You will be able to fully fabricate and MIG weld
• You will be happy to do site work and be proficient with working with mild steel
