This company operate and maintain numerous power generation plants across the UK and abroad. Due to continued success and an ongoing programme of growth, they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to join their highly professional team at one of their renewable power plants.

In this role the successful candidate will perform planned and reactive maintenance work on a variety of electrical equipment across the power plant. This will include fault-finding and rectifying problems to ensure the smooth operation of the plant. Training on the specifics of the power plant will be provided. The work will follow a continental shift pattern with both days and nights.

The ideal candidate will be an electrical engineer who has successfully completed a time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering. They will have experience working on HV equipment such as motors, switchgears, transformers or breakers within a heavy engineering sector. They will also need to be commutable to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.

The Role:

* Electrical engineering background
* Successfully completed a time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering

* Experienced within heavy engineering
* Commutable to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea
