This company operate and maintain numerous power generation plants across the UK and abroad. Due to continued success and an ongoing programme of growth, they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their highly professional team at one of their renewable power plants.
In this role the successful candidate will perform planned and reactive maintenance work on a variety of mechanical equipment across the power plant. This will include fault-finding and rectifying problems to ensure the smooth operation of the plant. Training on the specifics of the power plant will be provided. The work will follow a continental shift pattern with both days and nights.
The ideal candidate will be a mechanical engineer who has successfully completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical engineering discipline. They will have experience working on valves and pumps from a transferable industry including food processing, manufacturing, process industry etc. They will also need to be commutable to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.

The Role:
