Payroll Administrator - Busy Accountancy Firm in Chesterfield

Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced, growing environment? Due to continued growth and company acquisition, a leading Accountancy Firm in Chesterfield is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a busy bureau or similar setting, with a strong understanding of current payroll legislation, such as employment allowance and other technical payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll for a range of clients, including weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc payroll runs.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams, building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.
  • Stay updated with payroll rules, regulations, and legislative changes to ensure compliance.
  • Provide support for a variety of payroll-related queries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, P60s, P11Ds, and other payroll documents as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of payroll experience in a busy bureau or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation and technical processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple payrolls (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
