Monday - Friday: 6.00AM Starts

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Newbridge, Edinburgh.

Day to Day Duties

  • Driving/operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Delivering Cash and Carry Goods to customers
  • Multi-Drop
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Handling cash payments
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

  • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Valid CPC and DIGI card
  • Experience driving four, six or eight wheelers

Training

  • Full week of paid training, depending on experience
  • Health and Safety training
