MONDAY - FRIDAY

WORKING HOURS: 06:00 - 15:00/16:00

PAY RATE: £14.78

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.

This is a temp-to perm opportunity offering weekly pay, holidays and no weekend work.

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £14.78 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Driving and operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Multi-drop deliveries of cash and carry goods to customers
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Handling cash payments where required

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to have:

• A valid UK Category C Licence
• A valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsement codes)
• The ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• A good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Training

• Training provided and onsite paid induction provided to successful applicant
