Your Role: HGV Driver/Loader
- Operate company vehicles to collect loads from various commercial, industrial, HRW Sites and residential locations nationwide.
- Follow planned routes and schedules provided by the operations team.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects, ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards.
- Manually or mechanically load and unload, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.
- Use appropriate handling equipment such as trolleys, pallet trucks, and tail lifts to assist with loading/unloading operations.
- Compliance with all legislation including driver's hours and highway regulations.
- Provide customers with the highest level of service.
- Excellent awareness and understanding of Health and Safety.
The ideal person will have:
- Class 2 driving licence
- Juniors are accepted
- Digital tachograph
- Valid driver CPC
- Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
- Excellent customer service
- Have a can-do attitude
- Passion for driving
- ADR - dangerous goods qualification is desirable
