The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Edinburgh area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.
Shifts:聽Shifts across Monday to Sunday (drivers must be required to do weekends)
-Full Time
-Part Time / AD-HOC
-Weekends
Hours:聽Days / Afters/ Nights
Pay Rate:聽拢17.20 to 拢24.44 per hour PAYE.
Location:聽Edinburgh (EH28)

The role (please note there can be different types of runs for this position):
路 Split Shifts - starts from 15:30pm - 18:30pm - driver will be required to go from depot to Carlisle with a loaded trailer, once arrived, driver will then got the the truck stop for their rest (nightout and meal allowance added)
. Night Trunks - start times from 20:00pm - drivers will start from depot and go to Carlisle and then take a loaded trailer back into Scotland.
. Day Trunks - start from 00:00am - drivers will cover trunks to Abedeen/Inverness/ Carlisle
. Double Manned Crews - starts from 12pm - 7pm - 2 drivers will trunk to the Hubs.
Requirements:
路 Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
路 Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
路 Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
路 No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
路 Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
路 Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm - 9 pm (all paid at night rate).
路 Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
路 Full understanding of WTD legislation.
路 Excellent communication skills.
路 A safety-first mindset.
